Sand and grit can get inside your caps and connectors and make them difficult to put on/take off.
If you are using your flowtoys at the beach or any other sandy area, blow out or clean your caps and connectors of any sand before attaching them to your tubing.
If your caps and tubes feel gritty, clean them and apply a bit of vaseline for lubrication.
