Cleaning your pod shell:

Pod shells are made of silicone. You can clean them in a washing machine or put them in your dishwasher. Here is a nifty video a customer made on cleaning out the pod shell:

Cleaning your flowcaps:

Flowcaps are made of silicone, and you can clean them in a washing machine (not dryer), use water and soap, or put them in your dishwasher. Each of these options is an effective way of cleaning out your flowcaps, and we recommend cleaning them regularly to clear any dirt / debris build up, which may affect the performance of your prop.

Cleaning your crystal cases / flowmass:

If they are dirty from dust and dirt, we toss them into the washing machine (not dryer). You can also wash them with water and soap, or in a dishwasher.

Crystal cases, flowmass, and the old flower caps are made of a durable polyurethane (like skate wheels). They do tend to yellow over time, and they especially discolor with exposure to UV rays (sunlight). You are welcome to throw them in the washing machine (on a cold cycle) as that will help clean off any dirt.

We are continuing to research material alternatives, but it has been difficult to find a material that is strong enough, soft enough and clear enough that does not yellow! And that is not vinyl, which is a terrible plastic for our health and environment and that we choose to avoid. We included a tint in one of our batches to minimize the yellowing and it weakened the material significantly, causing many crystal cases to tear. The current batch we have is the best mix of durability and non-discoloration.

If you would like brand new/fresh parts, you can send your parts back and get them replaced for half price ($10/pair of cases, $5/pair of mass).
