The most appropriate length for a Trikon dragon staff is right around mouth/nose level. This refers to the length of the shaft itself, without the Trikon hubs installed, to allow for a substantial playable shaft area while keeping the staff a manageable length.

With a shorter shaft, the playable shaft will be limited making it more challenging to manipulate the staff. With a longer shaft, the staff will be heavier and have the potential to wobble or bounce as the weight is focused at each staff end.
