Over time, the dirt and oils can accumulate on the surface of your staff. If left unchecked, the oils can seep under the grip causing it to stretch out and loosen over time. 


A good way to ensure your grip stays tacky and does not separate from the shaft is by regularly cleaning it with a rag and some rubbing alcohol. We recommend rubbing alcohol for 2 main reasons:

  1. It can easily cut through any debris that may be on the outside of the staff
  2. It evaporates quickly, preventing any oily or wet residue
