If your fibers are dusty or dirty, you can clean them with a rag and some silicone lubricant. The silicone lubricant also helps prevent tangling and keeps FiberFlies playing smoothy. Put a small dab on a clean rag, and wipe it along the fibers from the base to the tips several times while simultaneously combing them with your fingers.

Make sure you use silicone & not another type of lubricant, e.g. glycerin-based lubricants can get sticky over time. Silicone lubricant also acts as a mild cleaner for the fibers, and we suggest using personal lubricant for the best results. We checked with the folks at FiberFlies LLC, and coconut oil should work as well.
