Yes, you can use your collapsible staff as a Trikon dragon staff.

The Trikon are designed to fit over any 19mm, 22mm or 1" diameter tube, and you can easily slide them on to your collapsible staff end tubes to convert it into a dragon staff. 


Note: There are a few considerations if you plan on using Trikon hubs on your collapsible staff:

  • The collapsible staffs only have grip on the center handle section. Most dragon staffers prefer the entire shaft to be gripped to maximize the playable area. 
    • If you would like to add grip to your collapsible staff end tubes, we offer 1" grip here.
    • If you wish to install the grip, here are instructions. 
    • If you would like to us to install the grip for you, you can send your end tubes in and we can do it for a $20 custom assembly fee + the cost of the parts + shipping. If you prefer this option, please contact us and we'll get you sorted out :)
  • The way the collapsible staffs are designed, you have to twist and pull the end tubes to detach them from the center handle. 
    • The rolling motion of the dragon staff may cause the tube connectors to disengage, causing the end tubes to come off while you're spinning. We've never heard of this happening, however it's something to be aware of.
