Vision spoke - coming out of hub during use:

The spokes are designed to have a secure fit inside the hub when they are fully/correctly installed. They are not supposed to come apart during use, and we're sorry that's happening!

If the spoke is not staying in place inside the hub, one thing that may help is to twist while pushing the spoke into place. You should feel/hear the spoke click into place inside the hub.

To check the spoke is securely attached, give it a gentle twist and pull - if it comes out easily, please try installing it again.

Here's a link to the pop'n flow poi quick-start video, where Sean covers how to install/remove the LED spokes from the hubs: https://flowtoys2.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000270385-pop-n-flow-full-vision-poi-quickstart-guide

LED core not working correctly (LED fail, not turning on, battery fail, not grouping correctly):

LED fail/malfunction - If any of the LEDs are broken, not lighting up or otherwise malfunctioning it will be a bit challenging to repair from home. In this case, we recommend contacting us directly to get instructions on how to send the spoke back to us for warranty service.

Light not turning on - If your LED spoke is not turning on either on or off the charger, you may be able to get it running again with a reset.

If the light lights up at all, DO NOT perform a reset! A reset is only useful for a completely unresponsive light and performing a reset too many times can damage it.

If you do need to perform a reset, you can find instructions on how to do that here: https://flowtoys2.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000243506-how-to-reset-capsule-2-0-vision-light-or-vision-club-core

Battery not holding a charge - If your spoke is dying quickly into use or the battery is draining significantly between uses, we have some tips to check to confirm the issue: https://flowtoys2.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000202799-troubleshooting-my-battery-is-not-working-not-holding-charge-draining-between-uses-dying-quick

LED core/spoke casing snapped or broken:

If the LED core/spoke casing are snapped, please contact us directly for support.

LED casing separating at the center:

Typically, they are very durable and resilient so we rarely hear of issues with them breaking. If the spoke is separating at the center it's likely a result of a glue failure.

If you're up for a DIY fix you can use any cyanoacrylate, AKA super glue for rubber, to repair the casing. Be sure to clean the joint with alcohol to de-grease it first.

Apply a thin coat around the inside of the hole then push the tube in all the way while twisting and let cure overnight to be safe.

Examples of glue options:

Spoke plug broken/detached:

If one of your spoke plugs is broken/detached and you're up for a DIY fix, check out these tips:

  • To remove a plug stuck inside a hub: find a sharp screw long enough to reach the plug, and be pulled out by pliers. Screw into the plug deep enough to grip it well, but not all the way through it. Pull it out with pliers. If you can think of any other way to get it out please let us know!
  • To repair the spoke: use thin super-glue to glue the plug back in your spoke.

We also recommend checking your other spokes are good by trying to twist the plug out using large pliers over a fabric rag to avoid damaging them.

If they don’t twist out fairly easily, they should be good.
