Podpoi
These are great for both dance-y and technical spinning, since they are built with cushy, mid-weight pod shell heads and relatively thin 6mm smithy cord leashes. Many folks prefer them since they're a great, compact pair of all-purpose LED poi - especially if your new to the art form.
One of the most popular features about these poi is that they're great to hand off to new spinners to try out! They are possibly the most inviting and forgiving pair of LED poi in the world.

Coral poi
These are a great choice if your spinning focuses a lot on contact poi moves, tosses, leash tangles, and/or poi juggling. While they coral heads are soft and cushy, they are on the larger/heavier side. They are built with thicker, less rigid 10mm FPC leashes.
One of the most unique features of coral poi is that you can easily convert them into balls for juggling/contact juggling by removing the leash.
