Welcome to your new vision poi! This page includes information about how to:
- Charge your lights
- Size your leashes
- Links to useful flowOS resources (navigation, modes, button presses)
Depending on which type of rig you have, the end cap will be different. We've included a photo of the various options below.
How to charge:
In order to access the charging port on your vision lights, you'll need to remove the end cap.
If you have a flowcap
Twist to release the buttons and pull.
To install the flowcaps to flowtoys tubes, place the cap over tube, push and twist until flowcap buttons click into the tubing holes.
Tip 1: Hold the cap closer to the top where the buttons are, twisting off. If you hold it closer to the bottom of the cap, you will not release the buttons.
Tip 2: It helps to use a bit of "monkey grease" (oils from your hands) or a tiny bit of vaseline on the parts of the tubes that interact with the caps and connectors. This prevents stiction and squeakyness, and generally makes interacting with your caps and connectors a more smooth experience.
If you have a pod shell or pod shell w/ sleeve
Slide the sleeve towards the leash/shaft end of the rig to expose the pod shell. Once you've exposed the pod shell, you can pry it off the tube as shown in the video below.
You can find instructions to install the pod shell in the video as well.
